The foundation stones for six development projects, including the multi-story facility for the Department of Public Libraries, under the Ministry of Cultural Affairs, were unveiled by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Tuesday.
The Premier also inaugurated the newly built Copyright Bhaban for the copyright office of Bangladesh in Dhaka, according to UNB.
By participating in a celebration in the Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum through a virtual platform from her official house Ganabhaban, the premier presented the foundation plaques and officially opened the Copyright Bhaban.
The other five projects are the Children’s Library at the National Museum, the Rose Garden in Old Dhaka, the Kabi Nazrul Institute Bhaban in Dhaka, the President Md Abdul Hamid Shilpakala Academy and Regional Cultural Centre at Mithamoin in Kishoreganj, and the Mithamoin Regional Cultural Centre.
