Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the police officers to stay alert so that no one can ruin the government’s achievements. She has asked them to keep vigilant so that no one can repeat the arson attack.
She said this while addressing the senior officials of Bangladesh Police at the Prime Minister’s office on Wednesday (January 4) on the occasion of Police Week.
The prime minister told senior police officials that if they want to get into any movement, they can involve the people in it. But if anyone does any destructive activities there, appropriate action should be taken against them.
Thanking the police force for their contribution in the past, the Prime Minister said that they had played a significant role in the progress of Bangladesh. Law and order is the most important thing in a country. For this reason, her government has increased the overall facilities of the police force through training and forming sector-wise forces.
Highlighting the benefits of being in power for a long time, the Prime Minister said the improvements we had made in Bangladesh today did not come by chance. For this, we had to work hard and suffer. Today, Bangladesh is lauded all around the globe.
