Metropolis Report-
To improve wheat and edible oil output in Bangladesh, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has asked the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) for help.
Additionally, the IFAD will help small agricultural businesses develop effective food storage systems and marketing strategies for their products.
Given that the per capita funding for Rohingyas has decreased from $12 to $8.0, the prime minister also asked the World Food Programme to raise money for displaced Rohingyas.
Hasina asserted that the nation is well-positioned to produce crops, fish, and other staples.
The prime minister attended a reception held at the FAO headquarters by Qu Dongyu, the organization’s director general.
