Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will attend the UN Food Systems Summit+2 Stocktaking Moment (UNFSS+2) in Rome, where around 2,000 participants from 160 countries, including 20 heads of state and government, are expected to attend.
The event, hosted by Italy and UN Agencies, will be officially inaugurated at 2:30 pm local time.
The high-level meeting aims to review progress from the first Food Systems Summit in 2021, identify successes, end bottlenecks, and establish priorities.
Prime Minister Hasina will participate in a plenary session on “Food Systems and Climate Action” and will also attend the inaugural ceremony of the Bangladesh-Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Room.
