When carrying out their jobs during the SCBA election on Wednesday, at least ten journalists were reportedly attacked by police in the auditorium of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA).
Javed Akhter, an ATN News journalist, has been admitted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH). His health is in grave danger.
Suvra Kanti Das, a senior photojournalist for Prothom Alo, Fazlul Haque, a senior journalist for Jago News, Nur Mohammad, an Ajker Patrika journalist, Abdullah Al Maruf of Manab Zamin, Jannatul Ferdous of Independent Television, Ibrahim Hossain, a cameraman for Boishaki Television, and Humayun Kabir, a cameraman for ATN Bangla, are the other injured individuals.
