The “Police Blood Bank Rangpur” was opened at Rangpur District Police Hospital on Tuesday.
As the chief guest Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Rangpur Range Police Mohd Abdul Alim Mahmud inaugurated the blood bank on the hospital premises in Rangpur city.
Superintendent of Police Md Ferdous Ali Chowdhury presided over the function.
Many police members and healthy adults voluntarily donated blood on the launching ceremony of the blood bank.
