According to the Criminal Investigation Department today, a racket has leaked medical college admission test question questions at least ten times during the past 16 years.
In conjunction with the recent leak of question papers from the centralized medical college admission test, CID has detained 12 members of the racket, including seven doctors.
CID director Mohammad Ali Mia, additional inspector general of police, revealed in a news conference at the CID Headquarters in Malibagh today that this racket was in charge of leaking medical entrance test questions ten times between 2001 and 2017.
Five of those detained had ties to the BNP, while one had ties to the Jamaat-e-Islami, he continued.
According to the CID chief, CID has discovered evidence of transactions totaling crores of taka from their bank accounts, and the subject is currently being investigated for possible money laundering.
