Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said that voting is being held in Rangpur City Corporation in a festive atmosphere. They did not receive any complaints from morning till noon. He expressed hope that the polling would end smoothly.
The CEC said these things to reporters while observing the Rangpur City election on CCTV sitting at the election building in Agargaon of the capital on Tuesday.
Chief Election Commissioner Kazi Habibul Awal said, “Voting is taking place in a festive atmosphere. Voter turnout is satisfactory, we think. We’re monitoring through CCTV cameras and tabs, using digital technology to monitor the election as beautifully as possible.”
