Ruma and Thanchi upazilas travel prohibition was revoked by the Bandarban district administration.
Tourists are still not permitted to visit Rowangchhari Upazila, according to a notice by Bandarban Deputy Commissioner.
Tourists must obtain the most recent information from the upazila administration before traveling to isolated places, read the notice.
All other upazilas in the Bandarban area, with the exception of Rowangchari, are now accessible to tourists.
The three upazilas were off limits to visitors as of October 7 of last year because of worries about their general safety.
