Today, Bangladesh is celebrating Saraswati Puja, a significant Hindu religious festival, with a lot of zeal, festivity, and religious fervor.
On the fifth day of the bright fortnight in the Bangla month of Magh, the puja is held. It is known as “Vasant Panchami.”
At schools and temples, Hindu devotees—particularly students—worship Goddess Saraswati and observe the puja.
Yesterday, on the occasion of Saraswati Puja, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and President Abdul Hamid welcomed the Hindu community.
