Several events were held on Tuesday to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the foundation of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology.
At 10:10 am, SUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Farid Uddin Ahmed and Treasurer Dr. Anwarul Islam raised the national and university flags in front of the administrative building to kick off the event.
Later, in Bangabandhu Square on campus, the vice chancellor paid homage by laying a wreath on the portrait of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
A vibrant procession was led from the administration building to the campus at 10:25. Participants in the march included faculty members, staff members, and students from the university.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Farid Uddin Ahmed wished everyone a Happy University Day and Pahela Falgun at the conclusion of the procession.
