Today, the National Board of Revenue extended the due date for filing income tax returns to December 31.
NBR Chairman Abu Hena Md Rahmatul Muneem stated at a session at the NBR headquarters, “We have issued orders in this regard.”
The tax authorities stated that it extended the deadline by one month in an order after taking the public interest into account.
