Over Tk 11 crore in cash was robbed this morning by robbers from a car that was headed to Savar to restock ATMs. It happened in the Turag neighborhood of Dhaka.
The event occurred at around 7:30 am while representatives of a private security firm were traveling toward Savar on a microbus after collecting the cash from the bank’s office in Mirpur, according to police.
Police also claimed that a group of armed men stopped the car and demanded the money from the driver. A case is currently being filed in this regard.
