Tonight, the nation will mark the holy Shab-e-Barat, also known as the night of luck, with the appropriate devotion and religious fervor.
Shab-e-Barat is one of the three most hallowed nights in Islam. They also hold the view that on this night, the All-Powerful Allah decides on everyone’s fate and establishes their means of subsistence for the coming year.
Muslims will spend the night praying, reading verses from the holy Quran, and asking Allah for his blessings for long life, peace, progress, and happiness for themselves, their families, friends, and loved ones.
