Tonight, the sacred Shab-e-Miraj will be observed. Muslims commemorate Shab-e-Miraj, the night of Rajab 26, when Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him) set out on a special trip to meet the Almighty.
The Prophet took the “Buraq” to Heaven on the journey, where Allah granted him some instructions to convey to the believers regarding the specifics of prayers.
Muslims will perform special prayers in their homes and mosques in order to ask Allah for his blessings for the welfare of the entire country and the Muslim Ummah.
According to a news release, the Bangladesh Islamic Foundation will organize a meeting, doa, and munajat at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 1:30 PM today to highlight the importance of Shab-e-Miraj.
