Three passengers in an autorickshaw were killed after a truck collided with the three-wheeler in Mymensingh’s Phulpur Upazila.
Two others sustained injuries in the head-on crash, which occurred around 9:30 a.m. on Monday on the Phulpur-Sherpur road, as reported by Abdul Hadi, the local police station chief.
The identities of the victims have not been confirmed yet.
“An autorickshaw was traveling towards Sherpur when it collided head-on with a truck. Three passengers on the autorickshaw died at the scene,” Hadi stated.
The injured individuals were rescued and taken to the Phulpur Upazila Health Complex, he added.
