The death toll from the massive earthquakes in Türkiye and Syria rose above 15,000 on Wednesday, official data showed, with rescue workers still searching for trapped survivors.
Officials and medics said 12,391 people have died in Türkiye and 3,042 in Syria, bringing the total to 15,433.
