The ODI World Cup is set to take place in India from October 5 to 19 November. The World Cup trophy will be brought to Bangladesh on a two-day tour, arriving in Dhaka on August 7 and being taken away on August 9.
The trophy will be displayed for public viewing at a shopping mall in Bangladesh, with a photo session at Padma Bridge.
The BCB chief executive, Nizam Uddin Chowdhury, said the trophy will be displayed in front of an iconic monument, such as the Padma Bridge, as a demand from the ICC.
The trophy will be taken to the BCB office for watching players and journalists, as well as a photo session with the national team.
Chowdhury also mentioned that seeing the trophy from the front will motivate cricketers, as they have had experience with cricket before.
