Tomorrow, for three hours, the body of Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder and brave freedom fighter Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury will be kept at the Central Shaheed Minar so that people may pay their respects.
From 10:00 am until 1:00 pm, the body will be at the Shaheed Minar. A guard of honor will be given to Dr. Zafrullah’s body. At a briefing today, Chairman Alfatun Nesa Maya made a statement.
His first namaz-e-janaza will be conducted at 2:30 pm at Suhrawardy Udyan after his body is transported there from Shaheed Minar.
His second namaz-e-janaza will be held on April 14 after Juma prayers, and his body will be transported to Gonoshasthaya Kendra in Savar at 10:00 am.
Yesterday around 11:00 pm, Dr. Zafrullah passed away while receiving medical care at Dhanmondi’s Gonoshasthaya Nagar Hospital. His remains have been preserved in the BIRDEM morgue.
