Metropolis Report-
During a meeting on Sunday, the Bangladesh Film Artists Association suspended actor Zayed Khan’s membership. It was announced to the media at a press conference held on the FDC grounds.
It was claimed that Zayed Khan’s comments against the constitution and the president and general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association on numerous forums were the cause of this suspension.
As Symon said, he had taken an oath on a phony piece of paper from the present committee’s president and had made defamatory statements about the general secretary of the committee in various media, which is against the organization’s bylaws. We wrote to him asking him to address these claims in accordance with the constitution, but he didn’t reply by the deadline.
Zayed Khan replied to the letter with the following: From February 19 to March 6, I was abroad on business. On February 22, you sent me an unauthorized notice identifying yourself as the general secretary of the Bangladesh Film Artists Association. I didn’t get the notice right away because I was abroad; I didn’t get it until March 31. I did, however, respond to the notice.
