On Sunday, August 27, near Chattogram’s Sitakunda, three policemen died when a railway struck a police van.
At the Upazila’s railway crossing between Salimpur and Fakirhat, the accident happened.
Sitakunda Police Station Officer Incharge Tofail Ahmed briefed that the deceased policemen were Constables Mizan, Constable Iskandar, and Constable Hossain.
All of the deceased worked at the Sitakunda police station, he said
SI Sujan Sharma, Constable Sameer Das, and resident Shahadat Hossain were all hurt in this incident.
All of the injured are taken under treatment at the Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
