This afternoon in the Khulna district, a cargo ship sank in the Rupsha after hitting a pillar of the Rupsha Rail Bridge. Two persons were reported missing as a result.
The Rupsha New Police Camp’s inspector, Nurul Islam Sheikh, stated that the fertilizer-laden cargo vessel, MV Three Light-1, was traveling from Mongla Port to Nauapara when the disaster occurred at 1:00 pm.
